IBL, HYBRDA, F1, F2

IBL (in-bred line - inbred line) is a genetically homogeneous variety that grows equally from all seeds.

Hybrids (the proper Polish term: hybrid) is the result of a cross between two parental varieties - these can be either inbred lines or hybrids - hybrids.

Seeds are called seeds of F1 generation when they arise from two different inbred lines crossed for the first time. In the case of crossing the same two hybrids of the F1 generation, such seeds are called the seeds of the F2 generation.

Selective inbreeding should be carried out at least up to the F4 generation in order to preserve the desired characteristics. In the situation when we cross two plants from one inbred line, the chosen feature is strengthened, as the inbred line is homozygous in its respect. "

AUTOFLOWERING (self-flowering)

Autoflowering means that flowering is caused by the age of the plant, not the change in the time of exposure.

The life cycle of self-flowering plants is short and lasts only 9-11 weeks (from planting the seed to the harvest). After two weeks, male specimens appear, while female weeks later, and then undergo intensive and quick flowering.

Plants generally reach a height of only tens of centimeters with an average crop of about 30g, depending on the growing conditions.
